I’m Talia, and I’m a Kitchener lifestyle newborn and family photographer serving Kitchener Waterloo and Cambridge.
And I’m here to tell you a little bit about my passion: Lifestyle Newborn Photography!
What is Lifestyle Newborn Photography?
When people hear about newborn photography, they often think about a newborn baby, wrapped in a blanket, posed on a bean bag or placed in a basket. And that is true! However, there is also a Lifestyle Newborn Photography. It is relaxed, stress free and enjoyable. Most importantly, the baby is never posed, and is only photographed in the familiar environment.
Where does the session take place?
The photography session takes places in the comfort of your own home. I typically photograph families in their living room, master bedroom and the nursery. The baby is normally photographed in parents’ arms, laying down in their crib, observing the environment.
Why should you choose lifestyle newborn photography rather than posed?
Lifestyle photography is more relaxed and stress free. You don’t have to worry about leaving the house with your new baby. No rushing and no running late, no need to pack a huge bag of “just in case.” The parents are always the most relaxed and comfortable in their own home.Photography session doesn’t have to be stressful! It can be easy, fun and enjoyable.
Who is this session for?
If you are looking for a newborn photography session where the photographer is capturing the connection and bond between the parents and the new baby, it is a session for you! As a Kitchener Newborn Photographer, I always focus on connection. There is nothing more important than documenting the way the parents look and interact with their brand-new baby. There is so much love and affection, and it is crucial to capture it all.
When does the lifestyle newborn photography session take place?
The best time to photograph the newborn is when he/she is under two weeks old. Babies under two weeks of age tend to be the sleepiest, and the most cooperative. However, lifestyle newborn session is very flexible and relaxed. As the baby doesn’t get posed, you can book your newborn session until the baby is one month old.
I hope I answered some of your questions about Lifestyle newborn photography. Is there anything else you would like to know? Let me know. I would love to answer your question!
